DAY 01.      MEDAN AIRPORT
Arrival at Polonia Airport transfer to hotel and then city tour by visiting Great Mosque, Sultan Palace, Chinese Temple and market afternoon return back to hotel.

DAY 02:      MEDAN – TANGKAHAN

After breakfast drive to Tangkahan via Binjai and Tanjung Pura, on the way visit several villages where you can see the daily activities of local people, arrival at Tangkahan check In to simple Guest House. Afternoon free at own leisure or walking around the area of the hotel, at the Bank of the river and the possibility to see the Elephant washing at the river

TANGKAHAN  is a peaceful jungle retreat, situated alongside the Kuala Buluh River. Tangkahan was established as an ecotourist location in 2001. Previously the area was logged and poachers hunted the animals. The local people have transformed the region, stopping the logging and forming forest ranger groups to patrol for illegal activities. With the help of FFI (Flora and Fauna International) they have developed a functional, self-sustained ecotourism destination.
There are 7 elephants based at Tangkahan, who work together with the rangers to patrol the forest and keep illegal loggers and poachers out. Joining the elephants for their afternoon bathing or taking a trek on elephant back will help to support this local initiative.
 This is a fascinating road where we drive straight through jungle covered mountains, deep valleys with rice fields and beautiful rivers.

DAY 03:      ELEPHANT SAFARI
After breakfast walking to the Bank of the River and then by Elephant walking to the jungle, passing and crossing the river and the possibility to   see several kind of flora and fauna in the rain tropical forest. After lunch explore the river by traditional wooden canoe, where it is also the time to see local people catching fishes at the river and afternoon return back to hotel.

DAY 04:      TANGKAHAN – BUKIT LAWANG
After breakfast drive to Bukit Lawang, on the way stop at several plantation for rubber, cocoa and palm oil, arrival at Bukit Lawang check in to hotel and afternoon free at own leisure.

DAY 05:      VISIT ORANG UTAN – BRASTAGI
After breakfast walking to the jungle by crossing the river with traditional canoe then tracking to the feeding site of Orang Utan to see the Orang Utan on their feeding time. After feeding time return back to hotel and then continue drive Brastagi arrival at Brastagi check in to hotel

 DAY 06:     CLIMBING SIBAYAK VOLCANO

After early breakfast drive to the slope of Sibayak Vulcano and then start climbing to Sibayak Volcano, after lunch on the top (simple lunch will be provided by our guide) you will down hill by another route to the hot spring, where you can take rest and swim in hot spring pool, late afternoon drive back to Hotel for overnight.

Sibayak Volcano
This is an active volcano 2165 m above sea level. The ascent passes through thick tropical forest. From the mountain peak can look down into the crater which is still actively producing lava. You can also see the beautiful scenery around them. Climbing start from the village of Jarang uda it is about 20 minutes driving from our Hotel, and takes it’s about 2,5 hours to climb the mountain. The temperature at the peak is about 16° C

DAY 07:      BRASTAGI – SAMOSIR ISLAND
After breakfast drive to Parapat on the way visit Sipiso-piso waterfall, Rumah Bolon (Long house) the old palace of Batak Simalungun Kings and Simarjarunjung to see the view of Lake Toba, upon arrival at Parapat crossing to Samosir Island by ferry boat arriavl at Samosir check in to hotel.

DAY 08:      TOBA TOUR

Samosir Island – tour to Tomok, Ambarita and Simanindo and visit typical Toba Batak villages: Tomok with its kings' tombs, Ambarita with its execution tables and in Simanindo with traditional Batak dance.

DAY 10:      SAMOSIR – SIPIROK.
After breakfast crossing back to Parapat and arrival at Parapat drive to Sipirok, on the way stop at Pineapple, clove, and coffee plantation and visiting traditional market at Balige Sigur-gur and Sipoholon Hot Springs. Before arrival at Sipirok the day enjoys the nature by walking at the bank of Sarulla river, the rice terrace and arrival at Sipirok check in to hotel.

 DAY 11:     SIPIROK – BUKITTINGGI
The journey today is rather long but worthwhile. It exhibits the inner part of Sumatra. The scenery of mountains, river valleys and traditional village will relive you from your weariness. Stop at Aek Sijornih to see waterfall drops among thousand coconut palm trees. Next, stop at botanical garden to see pepper, cinnamon, etc. Proceed to Panti nature reserve and the equator monument. Continue journey to the most charming town, the heart of Minangkabau Highland and the center of matrilineal society of west Sumatra

Day 12.        BUKITTINGGI – HARAU VALLEY
After breakfast drive to Payakumbuh and visiting Harau Valley with its Echo, rice field terrace, traditional village and then back to Bukittinggi visiting Sianok Canyon , Fort De Kock, Museum and Market. Afternoon return back to hotel. Evening enjoy traditional Minangkabau Dance and traditional music performance.

DAY 13:      BUKITTINGGI MINANGKABAU TOUR.
After breakfast, we drive to Batu Sangkar via Tabek Patah, here you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of field rece and some of  Minangkabau traditional village and next stop is Sungai Tarab to see traditional coffee mills still driven by water whells, arrival at  Batusangkar is considered the centre of Minangkabau culture that has some historical remains of stone tablets with ancient Hindu script drive to Pagaruyung to visit the duplicate Palace of Minangkabau Kingdom, afternoon return to Bukittinggi via Padang Panjang and visit The Minangkabau cultural centre museum next stop is Pandai Sikat village to see Minangkabau traditional hand weaving and wood carving.

DAY 14 :     BUKITTINGGI – PUNCAK LAWANG TREKING  TO MANINJAU
After breakfast drive to Puncak Lawang, on the way stop at Koto Gadang village to see traditional silver work and arrival at Puncak Lawang treking to Maninjau via Lawang jungle on the way down to Lake Maninjau enjoying coffee break at traditional coffee shop in the jungle, during the treking the opportunity to walk at the bank of rice field and village.Upon arrival at Maninjau check in to hotel.

DAY 15.      MANINJAU – PADANG – BUNGUS BEACH

Today you go to Padang via the beautiful Anai valley with the Anai waterfall. The harbor city of Padang on the Indian Ocean is the economic centre of West Sumatra. On arrival there is a city tour and then leave for Bungus Beach for overnight.

DAY 16.      BUNGUS BEACH – PAGANG ISLAND.

In the morning you will cross the sea by boat charter for 1 hour to Pagang Island, Here You can enjoy the heavenly surroundings on this Robinson Crusoe Island. You can snorkel over beautiful coral gardens. Snorkeling equipment and simple lunch will be provide by our guide in Pagang Island

DAY 17.      PAGANG ISLAND – PADANG

In the afternoon you will crossing back the sea for Bungus Beach then continue drive to Padang for an overnight.

DAY 18.      PADANG.

Transfer to Airport for your next destination.
